Big Upgrades Indeed

The upgrades are largely unnoticeable (unless you've noticed that the site worked and then it broke and then it worked again), but they set the site up for long term success.

The previous stuff I had going was entirely functional, but it was unfriendly toward slower connections.

I'll be the first to admit, I'm not building a site that is closely calculating bandwidth use to optimize everything for low-power environments, but I just didn't feel good about the sloppy work, and that's improved.

It also gave me a lot of room to make small quality of life upgrades as we go along. Maybe you'll notice that if you navigate to the blog page, and then select the link for the the most recent post, you'll see a flash as the post gets refreshed. Now that problem is fixable - whenever I get around to it. And it won't be a big pain in the ass to do.

Anyway, that's all I've got for now. Cheers!
